Work Uniforms:

To ensure SOLANO'S INC.’s employees are clearly identified as company representatives, SOLANO'S INC. has established the following uniform policy.

All employees are required to wear company issued SOLANO'S INC. logo shirts and name tag at all times while working and representing SOLANO’S INC.

MANAGERS WILL ENFORCE THIS POLICY

  • If an employee comes to work without their SOLANO'S INC. logo shirt and name tag, they will be sent home to change to their uniform. The employee will clock out and clock back in upon return in their uniform.
  • If an employee does not conform to the uniform policy, they will be suspended without pay until they comply. Non-compliance of the uniform policy will result in termination of employment.
  • Vendor shirts are not permitted for wear. Only issued SOLANO'S INC. logo shirts are allowed.
  • Yard personnel are required to wear issued safety green SOLANO'S INC. logo shirts.
  • Holiday/Themed shirts are worn on assigned days only.

Each new employee will receive FOUR shirts and name tag upon hire. Employees are required to sign for the shirts; the shirts are considered company property and returned in the event of termination of employment or anytime on demand.

Upon issue, company shirts become the responsibility of the employee for maintenance and care. In the event a shirt needs repair or replacement, employees are required to return the shirt in exchange for a replacement to their manager. While normal wear and tear is expected, excessive damage or loss of company shirt may result in disciplinary action.

SOLANO'S INC. may issue new shirts periodically or require shirts to be returned for special purposes. Employees will be given notice of the exchange, and the company will provide suitable replacement shirts.

Employees are required to return all issued shirts upon termination of employment. There will be a grace period of 24 hours if the shirts are not readily available.
